What It Takes to Be #1

Book a Session

Four years straight as the #1 real estate agent in Minnesota. 225+ deals a year. No team, no assistants — just her. Artemisa Boston has been in this business for 20 years and still works every deal herself. That combination doesn't happen by accident.

We covered the whole picture: how she got into real estate, what her first year looked like, her daily routine, how she manages hundreds of active deals simultaneously without delegating, why she made the move to eXp Realty, and what she actually sees in agents who start strong and then quit. She's watched enough careers come and go to know exactly what separates the ones who make it.

She's also bilingual — and she'll tell you that matters more than people expect. It's part of how she works with international clients and builds a brand that crosses markets. The conversation covers a lot of ground, but the thread running through all of it is the same: what does it actually take to operate at this level, year after year, without slowing down.

HOW WE MADE IT

The Objective

Four years as #1 in Minnesota. 225+ deals a year. No team. That combination doesn't make sense on paper — which is exactly why we wanted to get her in front of a camera. The goal wasn't to run a highlight reel. It was to understand how someone actually operates at that level, and let her explain it in her own words to anyone who wants to do the same.

Our Approach

Three cameras. Full studio setup — broadcast audio, full lighting rig, 4K multi-angle. Before we hit record, we aligned with Artemisa on the territory we'd cover: her story, her daily routine, how she manages hundreds of deals solo, what she sees in agents who quit, her move to eXp, and where she's building to. She walked in knowing the landscape. The conversation took it from there — nobody was reading a script.

Visual Language

Key light from the left, subtle fill, a hard backlight to pull her off the dark backdrop. Clean, controlled, no distractions. The goal was to keep all the attention on the conversation — the way it should be in a studio podcast. Everything in frame had a reason to be there.

What Made It Work

She's been doing this 20 years and still works every deal herself — no team, no delegation. That came up early and set the tone for everything that followed. But the moment that landed hardest was her answer on why agents fail. She's watched hundreds of careers start and end. She knows exactly what the pattern looks like — and she said it straight. That part of the conversation went places we didn't plan for.
